What certificates would be of must use while going through the process of enlisting 25B? What books or course would you recommend?

Security+ is a must. Also getting a Windows environment certification will help you a lot as well.

Getting an account on Safari books online is another great resource. Register with you .mil email. Only issue here is the accounts are limited and you may to wait for an account to be created.
