With women being allowed to join the infantry, what should be changed to ensure we aren't accommodating and making it easier. What can be done to ensure we stay trained just as hard as we have been for the last 2 centuries.

As a female I feel that none of the training standards should change. I feel if women want in a mans world she will need to be in the same standard as the males.

A mans world? It's a humans world. There are no gender specifications for fighting.

There's already a difference in training for women. I feel if women want to be in the infantry they should run the male PFT and CFT. I feel they should regardless of MOS but especially if they want to be infantry.

It's the same for infantry training. You are talking about basic!

I'm definitely talking about the fleet. Women have easier standards. If they want to be Infantry, the physical standards, PFT and CFT, should be the exact same. Women who want to be Infantry should do the same job the exact same way as a man or not be allowed to do it. Just like all of the men who have failed.

Simply maintain the standard as normal. If they meet it great, if not there are plenty of other jobs they can do.

Agreed, I don't get the big uproar. Just because women are aloud to serve in the infantry doesn't mean that they can pass the current standards. I no have issue with women in combat as long as they are held to the same standards as the men

Quick clarification by combat I mean the jobs that are currently not available, didn't mean to imply that women aren't in combat now, they are.

No more discussion needed. It's decided and women are here to stay.

Women shouldn't have separate standards for PFT and CFT if they're infantry. They should have the same standards as the males. True equality.

Don't change a thing, if they can't hang, then I guess they're out. This is going to be interesting to say the least. 1/7 82-86
