If you ever:
Wore starched green fatigues.
Spit shined the toes of Corcoran jump boots.
Wore a Class B uniform in the summer.
Ate "C" rations in the field. Extra points if they contained cigarettes.
Went from green fatigues to BDU'S.
All FTX's were NATO vs Warsaw Pact.

So out of curiosity, being old school, my definition of that is wearing olive drank fatigues, wore jump boots even though I never jumped out of a good flying aircraft, eat c-rations, spit shine boots, drove a real duece and a half, drove a Jeep for commo officer, slept in quantsa huts, wore short yellow shorts for PT, ate at the mess hall, stood at attention for the raising of the flag, drank beer from the vending machine at break room next door to the 1st SGT office, and if the ARMY wanted me to have a wife, one would be issued to me, freezing my n$ts in Korea, but what find memories, definitely washed and shaved using a steel pot of course using hot water, pretty much I can remember while my time in the military

Fatigues, Kaki’s, C-RATS, No power point or spreadsheets and no phones so you had to stick to the training schedule are a few of my favorite things
