I'm hearing/reading people saying "I'm old school, therefore..." So out of curiosity's sake, where is that ever-moving line?

If old school is being issued sateen utilities, M14, living in the Quonset hut next to the grinder. After you graduate and go to ITR in a cattle car and being issued an M1. have a real serial number and not my Social Security number I guess I could qualify.

Every generation hears about old school. The Army is so easy these day the old timers will tell you, back when I first came in....... Todays private who stays in 20-30 years will be telling a young private about how easy they have it. You need to do it old school they would tell them. A never ending cycle.
