I recently just got approved for an RE code waiver. It basically depends on why you were discharged and is it the military’s best interest to accept you back in. Add me as a contact and message me, and we could talk farther more about it if you’d like.

I would bet it’s either a station that makes mission easily and the recruiter does not want to waste a lot of time on an iffy recruit or whatever you were booted for is hopeless and the recruiter just hopes you’ll go away. Or could be that some waivers are a lot of work and by making you do what is apparently a difficult part of the process the recruiter wants to see if you are serious and if it’s is worth his time to help you.
