During 2009 the Army trials two uniform camouflages in Afghanistan, one being Multicam and the other called UCP-D. I was wondering what you called this if you happened to trail it during that time. The only difference between UCP (ACU) and UCP-D is the addition of brown into the pattern.

Is that a real US army soldier? When did troops have magazines with windows? (Magpul Pmag w/window) maybe my unit sucked and we just got GI-trash magazines?

Yeah it is, this is the caption from the DVIDS website: "A U.S. Army sergeant with Charlie Company 2508 Task Force Furry, participating in Operation Mesmar, pulls perimeter security, Feb. 5, Southern Afghanistan. Canadian Forces 3rd KANDAK 1/205 Corps and the U.S. Army Charlie Company 2508 Task Force Furry worked together mentoring the 3-1/205 Afghan national army for a successful execution of the operation. The mission objective was to clear several villages and fruit orchards in the southern most half of Terot Kulacha in search of IED's, weapons caches and illegal drugs. "
