For me it's a huge waste of time and taxpayer money to support such an asinine night for people who think their funny enough to tell jokes. I don't care about who is bashing who, it's all asinine and a bit childish. If these clowns, Democrats, Repulicans and Independents, could put half the effort into doing their jobs as they do insulting one another I think our country would have far less issues. Oh and the celebrity knob bobbers are really getting out of hand too. Maybe they should try to really see what is going on and stop bobbing on the knob of whomever is in political power.

But, then, what can anyone really expect from the Divider-in-Chief?

From what I watched (that I could stomach) of the WH Correspondents Dinner, I could not find one joke that was remotely funny! The MC was terrible! The last really funny MC was Drew Carey!!!

President or not he is a politician. Given that, I'd rather a stupid joke, than a smart lie.

Do you really expect any better from them anymore?

Not really, I guess it would be easier to take if they were doing a better job at running the country.

Whether or not he's Muslim doesn't mater. His mother is an American Citizen so he was at birth no mater where he was born. The only question relevant here is did he renounce that citizenship while abroad in a country that didn't allow dual citizenship. Records show that is probably the case but there is no documenting of renunciation. Reference his school records from over seas and that he applied for foreign student federal help for his college.
No mater what he has been The President for almost 6 1/2 years now.

There were a couple jokes that fell flat on account of them not being overly funny, but I didn't feel any lines were crossed.

I'm glad he did it, I wish he would do more to raise awareness about climate change.

I watched the President's speech at the 2015 White House Correspondents Dinner tonight and I felt like the jokes went too far given the fragile state of our political system and the state of the world. It doesn't look as though we will be ending the partisan gridlock anytime soon. What say you all?
