I use myhealth to message my providers and to order my prescription refills. It’s much easier than using the phone and trying to call the facility. I also like video connect to reduce travel and get my needs met through telehealth.

It would be "wonderful" if the VA would simply record all of their presentations on things like the PACT Act and have them served up in cafeteria style for people to just watch/view and even have quick access links to ask questions. Many of the veterans today do not live in America... they are global citizens and as such, not everyone can just pick up the phone conveniently and call... Therefore, chat sessions on video content would be great.

I filed for a copy of my C-File in early January. Here I am six months later and still no copy of my electronic records. I would think the VA would be more transparent with their records. I can already download VA letters, which is a great advancement in digital access, but we should be able to access our records freely, unless the VA has something to hide, which is the reason for a FOIA in the first place - to have someone review the information first and to clean it up if necessary or redact information they don't want the veteran or their representatives to see... I think the VA is doing much better these days in the digital realm, but I think it would be important to make it less convoluted and more organized for veterans to easily access information, such as not having to go search around for when C&P payments will be distributed throughout each year, or what benefits a veteran has at 10, 20, 50, 90, or 100% - combined with links to state-level benefits... I would be grand if the VA and local states worked together to share a complete package of benefits without having to go search for them. Yes, the information is there... but many still can't find it... or learn late about lost benefits...

I don't think digital tools are what we desire, but rather as mentioned before, real people who can think and solve problems with bounteous resources at their disposal.

I would like a comprehensive tool or app for financial literacy training and organization. Teaming up with something like Mint would be great to educate veterans on simple ways to balance their budget.
