I used VA tools like MyHealtheVet and VA websites. I would be interested in any improvements to those systems and would be interested in any tools that would help automate and improve the benefits claims process.

Windows 7 desktop PC. Direct secure email to my Doctor only as apposed to support staff. I asked for help finding a suv that I can drive with just my hands a year ago. No contact back and the shuffle when I call. So maybe fire 56% of VA employees and replace them with servers and updated software. Any way that I can select my own PCP at the VA or fire the one I got would be nice!

I’m not sure what you mean by digital tools. As far as the hospitals are concerned, appointment scheduling is a nightmare. An ability to see the clinicians available appointments so we can schedule them around our jobs and life, this would be better than some random appointment that would need to be rescheduled due to work conflict and then have to try to reach someone.

I want to be able to get a response from my primary doctor with a few hours, verses the next business day. For non emergencies, the response time through the current VA Secure Messaging app is way too slow.

Pretty much the same as O’Mally is talking about. Also make it so you have a choice of contacts or glasses maybe even offer eye surgery for us vets that are candidates.

I would like to see the VA provide us vets with ptsd and depression with iPads to keep for games and music movies ect. Something to distract us from our minds

SPC Mark Kernica
You can get an ipad from the VHA now, however,it is highly restricted. You can use the safari web browser and thats it aside from video appts with your providers. Cannot print either.

SPC Mark Kernica I didn’t know that. That’s kinda cool I guess just sucks it’s so restricted. I can’t afford things like that but having something like that to download apps to make music or play games on would be really cool. I seen drug addicts getting things like that from rehab and illegals getting things like that for free and just wish our government would do the same for us.

I prefer person to person, I am very tired of pushing buttons or having voice recognition not recognizing what I really want

Digital tools? I honestly don't know what's available. I use my computer and my cell phone, if that's what you are asking about.
