What digital tools do you use (or want) to improve your Veteran experience?

VA.gov is a good tool once you get an account set up, tracking a VA claim is definitely more convenient within the website, as well as acquiring information on other VA benefits. One method I believe would be beneficial is to chat with a live person not with a chatbot.

A app to streamline veteran affair services and personalized help for service members that struggle to get the help they need. Most importantly, video guides to help veterans file disability and appeals process, and volunteers to answer questions through the app to make process less stressful by guiding the service member. Also, volunteers to talk to struggling service members to decrease risks of suicide. Add video guides for other va programs such as home loans, disabled care of veteran family member, and other great programs va offer that service members may not know about. I personally do not like trying to navigate va website or miss emails because I'm less likely to check the many that get sent to me. I currently could use the apps help to figure out my own disability appeal problem I've had for years. Dropped 60 percent to 0 percent after cnp exam but still disabled and very confused with no clue where to get help.

I hope you find the time to read this and hopefully make a easier app to help veterans such as myself. I would rather have help instead of winning a contest. I won't turn it down if I win though.

I would like to be able to cancel a Va clinic appointment using the site My Health E Vet.

Currently I use the VA’s VVC function to receive psychiatric and other medical care. It definitely improves my experience because it allows me to stay home and have my appointments in the comfort of my own home. My only wish is that it worked more consistently for both the providers and the veterans.

Would it be in time for prime day deals?

The only digital tools that I am aware of are the va.gov website and app and the myhealth.va.gov website. I use it to myhealth.va.gov to communicate with my doctor and request refills on prescription snd even set up appointments. Va.gov is only used when I need copies of documents.
