Change travel pay to be included in check-in on appointment. It is not easy doing the go here and sign in, wait for code, click new link, find appointment not listed, appeal decision and boom forgotten. Travel pay never happens. Sometimes 3 lines of code in the programming is worth its weight in gold.

I would like the people who are currently serving veterans to effectively utilize the tools currently in place and feel empowered to make decisions to better serve the Veteran.
However; The double-edge sword of digital tools can have the negative net affect of removing the compassion, critical thinking, and problem solving when serving Veterans.
Digital Tools need to be effectively utilized by the people using them.
But to the point of the question, I It would be nice to have on-line ordering of durable medical goods.

I would like to see the long-awaited rollout of the new medical records system to streamline medical clinical and documentation, to help make our system as efficient as possible to serve our Veterans.

I work in the system that piloted the "new" EHR and I can tell you it's not all it's cracked up to be. We need something better and this is not it.

I like the emails that I get listing my VA appointments, as that's another way to keep up with them. I also get text reminders when my RX's are due to be refilled, although it's always sooner than when they can actually be refilled. It does remind me to keep an eye on that RX. I also like the option to check in on my phone prior to my VA appt.

I use the online check in tool and digital text reminders for my appointments. It could be easier to view my health record and I know that the VHA is working on improving the Electronic Health Record Vista is long past its prime.

I would like the Kiosks reinstated; they allow veterans to check-in for appointments, update address/ personal information and file travel claims. Phone lines need to be revamped; there has been too many problems with reaching the VA. There are more issues, however these are things that I deal with on a daily basis.

By digital tools I am going to assume you mean websites or programs. What I would like to see is assistance in obtaining quality, up to date hardware, tablets, phones, desktops or laptops and education/support for using these. There could be different levels for different incomes and needs. A homeless vet might need a phone and service paid for, but others might only need the education/service in setting up the programs and sited used by the VA. As a woman I get asked at every appointment if I was sexually abused, why can't everyone be asked if they have the electronics and knowledge to interact with the VA?
