Digital Experience, how about lets improve the Face to Face experience. I have had no success or quality care with the digital interface. I am tired of hearing about digital everything. The personal care is being left behind due to the focus of everything going digital. Do you know how many Doctors I have gone through in my Team at the VAMC in the last 10 years...EIGHT! Digital, forget digital. How about consistent quality care, lets get that right, then we can talk about digital.

I use my healthy vet . com the most. I wish accessing travel pay quicker than the eight months to be reimbursed should have it's own digital or automated experience that was instant.

Digital tools for VA Loan, health monitors for veterans who need it, a tool that covers all benefits and deals for veterans, where to get help with any veteran related issues (especially prosthetics and dental which are difficult to deal with among others), travel pay without having to upload proof of attending your appointment and a 30 day limit now to submit them, easier medication refill and requesting, legal and financial assistance that is easy to use. The one I use the most and is the most helpful is the myhealthyvet.va.gov website as it allows me to easily contact my doctors office, refill meds and see appointments.

Secure messaging is great. ✔️ I would love to be able to request appointments online and also check in to appointments online. Thank you! :)

go back to the Health evet app for medical communication.
the va.gov app is bad and too hard to use. setting up an account is too hard. i tried to submit an id photo and it kept getting denied and telling me to go the the post office for them to upload a photo and a specific time that i was not able to make. why can I go to The local VA office to do this. why cant there be down loadable ditections to get an account created. i am a visual person who can imitate but not connect hearing and put in computyer. logging on is a pain in the ass and i have not been able to see or communicate with my providers yet since i started using it 8 months ago when i moved to Oregon. Meds are not easy to do either and sometimes i thank im goint to run of seizure meds ( i keep having them too often and scated of running out , dont even get me started with hte psych meds)

I would appreciate the following digital tools:
An app with the following functions
- Medication interactions maintained by the VA Pharmacy
- My medical test/lab work results
- A link to the local VA Hospital Patient Advocate
- a daily-tracker for weight, Bp, and Hr to be input into my records for nurse and/or physician review
- Compatible to link with Garmin Connect for activity and HR tracking

The digital tools that I use daily are my cell phone and my computer. My veteran experience has improved since now Im able to utilize the MyHealthy Vet website to make my appointments and communicate with my doctors via online messages.

My primary means of communication is email. I receive regular email communications with the VA, Tricare and other miltiary related organizations. This lets me keep informed but also read on my schedule. For VA appointments I receive both email and text reminders which is helpful. Not sure if I would want another app to load onto my cell phone.
