Appointments are either on the phone or in person. Wilmington, NC VA does not take advantage of Ipads, laptops, or phones for face to face meetings. I have the tools except for the IPAD though I know that they have given my wife one to borrow.

I use ebenefits to review my doctor's note after each visit, I also reorder my prescriptions as well as check my appointments.

I miss the travel kiosk, but maybe providing away we can do it online at the VA.gov site would work as well. It would save on the lines at the travel pay plus we could check in for our appointments too. I do fill my scripts there and it's saves on calling them in and listen to that long winded recording.

Have the VA vidchat app connect to the link for online appointments. It only opens up a web browser and not the app. Fix it.

Easier access for the older generation to be able to track claims. Also I would like to see a decrease in the number of letters and unnecessary paperwork sent with claims. As a VSO we see how confused the Veterans are by the decision letters and all the paperwork sent. Also the forms need to be simplified. If the information can be accessed somewhere else stop asking for it on the forms. ALL of the VA claims forms need to be overhauled and standardized. There is too much duplication and unnecessary information asked for. Lastly stop sending me letters for community care that has been paid for. If I have a evets or ebenefits account add this in there and stop wasting money mailing these out. That is money that could go for better care of the Veterans.
