I only use VA.gov which is pretty poor and it's integration into the mobile app us even worse.

Digital TOOLS? To improve my Veteran EXPERIENCE? How about a 'body-camera' type device that you put on when you start your enlistment or commission, and take off (or turn off) only after you are discharged or retire from active service? Then swap that one out, or modify it for a VETERAN experience one that stays with you for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. Integrate these 'body-cams' with some sort of bio-sensor to observe, monitor, and record all parameters of someone's life... their experiences, stress levels, emotions, and wants, needs, and desires. Then our 'data-happy' society would REALLY have some concrete trail and trace of a Servicemember's, then a Veteran's, account of life. Now THAT would be a TOOL that I could use or want to improve my Veteran experience.
Very Respectfully Submitted, -RFB

Less digital, more personable. If I have an issue, I want to talk to someone...no email, no text, etc

New travel pay system is great for VA appointments, but Community Care appointments tak 6 months for reimbursement (per BT personnel) . I currently have on from April that is unpaid and don't expect it to get processed until October.

I would like to see all the information on one website or app. I have to go to multiple and it is frustrating to keep up with which one I need to go to.

I use the VA MyHealtheVet website and find it very helpful. Unfortunately, the message your Doctor option does not work efficiently. This one part of the website could save me time trying to leave messages for my Doctor. Maybe a new message system would vastly improve this situation!

Making telehealth more fluid
Some patients prefer hands-on, in-person care and respond better to it, but they need access.
Some types of care still need to be performed in person, including certain physical examination elements, labs, imaging, and interventional procedures, but let Veterans get a dialog started with telemed.

Travel kiosks because I’m sick of “in manual reviews” and never getting paid travel without physically showing up and asking someone at travel

When you check in to any clerk at the clinic or hospital, instead of having to loudly speak your last name and last four, why not put a simple keyboard and small screen so that I can just type q1111. Then a second question should pop up, "any changes?" If yes, wait and the clerk knows to query you, if NO, she knows your here and please have a seat.
