What digital tools do you use (or want) to improve your Veteran experience?

I would also like to see some kine of electronic travel submission be returned, weather by smart phone or kiosk. It was nice having the kiosk in the clinics available to submit a travel expense request. Now you have to go stand in line at an unmanned desk while in pain and while it's hard to stand only to get a paper to fill out without anyone there to answer questions.

Digital tools similar to this one I am posting on are great way to connect. LinkedIn types tailored towards veterans and all who serve.

Track meds that don't work and those that do.. when three can replace 13

I would like to see a smartphone check in when you arrive. So tire of the person at the desk with an attitude saying use the kiosk, but when you can't check in with that, then they will help you.

Telemedicine is good sometimes or when you have a follow up, but I would like up close and personal for annual check in

I would like a self service app for my va pay and medical care. Not an app that just hyperlinks to the web. Also being able to schedule more va appointments online without having to call in.

Better apps

Why not employ people who at the VA actually care about veteran's? It seems to be so frequent they only want to talk and not answer.

I use VA app but n my iPhone and VA.gov. I use the messaging app to stay in touch with my doctors and refill prescriptions.

I have myHeathy Vet has been a great digital tool that has helped me keep track of my appointments. You should expand the free iPads to Vets Program. The existing digital tools are great, but my veterans esp. older ones might need some in person training to how to use the sites.
