What digital tools do you use (or want) to improve your Veteran experience? That's an absolutely GREAT question! One tool that I own (and use religiously) is my iPhone 14. I bought it about three months ago and I absolutely love it! It keeps me very well organized since I've programmed it to bling each time I get an important email, text or reminder. This feature comes in QUITE handy for my VA appointments.

I have a laptop and it's useful but it's lacking in certain respects (it's been malfunctioning lately). If I had my choice of the ultimate desktop (and the money), I'd DEFINITELY invest in the Ultimate Surface Desktop Bundle which includes: Surface Pro 9, Surface Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock, Surface Arc Mouse, two (2) Samsung 4K monitors, Surface Pro Signature Keyboard, Surface Slim Pen 2. Of course, I'd have to hit the lottery quite BIG to be able to afford it. I don't think I'd need any other gadget(s) after that!

So, there you have my spiel I already have and what I desire to own - thanks for listening to me!

I use the phone refill option for prescriptions. Super simple and I don't need to remember how to login on the website.

I use MyHealthevet, va.gov, and other websites. Secure messaging is a godsend. Better management of cpap resupply would be nice.

Technology has helped greatly as I have used for keeping all my financial accounts up to date and staying in touch with family and friends any time of the day.

I use email and texts, as well as I research my health options. So, the testing results on MyHealtheVet need to be there, not in VISTA imaging. I like to be prepared when I meet with my physician, and if I cannot access all of my record, that is a problem.
I like the secure messaging feature in MyHealtheVet as well. I was traveling and got extremely ill. I went to a VA community partner and was tested for a variety of things, and all were negative, so I was prescribed nothing. I sent my PCC a copy of my record and long story, short, she ended up calling me a presecription into the local Walgreens near where I was staying. Digital tools are an excellent addition to the VA system, in my opinion.

I don't know that digital tools are the best solution. But being able to view all my information under one login (I use MyHealthEvet) would be a great start.
