I've worked BDE and Army HQ lever AMD as a 14G. At Division a 14G should be working in the Division ADAM Cell, hopefully with a Sentinel. What you would be providing is the Air Picture and Situational Awareness to the Division Command and Division Assets (At least locally via Sentinel. Ideally you would be tied into the Theatre or Exercise network and provide the entire air picture). You would also be in contact with any subordinate SHORAD or PATRIOT units that are OPCON to the Division. You'd probably end up collecting engagement reports, tracking maintenance for subordinate units, and running the tactical systems (FAAD, AMDWS, ADSI, etc). And by default you will probably end up doing some COMMO and network work, too. A lot depends on what your organic assets and subordinate unit assets are, too. I hope this points you in the right direction.

I am only halfway through my training at AIT but from what I've learned so far...we provide the air picture for anyone who needs it, be it air defense, field artillery, infantry, etc. Mainly we use the sentinel radar, I know there's more to learn but that's as far as I've gotten at this point.

If I was doing some training plans for 14G it would need to include the sentinel, comms, RCT, FAAD and AMDWS systems. There's more also that I haven't learned yet.
