What do consider to be your greatest professional accomplishment (military or civilian)?

For military professional accomplishment it is kind of split. I would have to say my deployment from April 2010 to October 2010 was quite the accomplishment it was filled with professional and personal growth, along with a lot of interesting other stuff that comes with a deployment to Kandahar Afghanistan. And working in a 1 stars front office under two different one stars. But it was the first one star general that made the biggest impact and was an awesome accomplishment when he came back to put on his second star and he coined me as a two star general. He truly and genuinely cared about people and their families along with the mission and his wife was equally awesome as an individual. And I haven't really been in the civilian world long enough to really have any professional accomplishments yet.

All my people in Nam came home, I was able to do the same for 27 years as a sheriff dept. Patrol supervisor. Everyone went home to their families

Well I was gonna say becoming a father but speaking strictly careers then probably being the nco my soldiers deserved and the nco I swore I would be.

The realization I should/can help others with my skills as a Sonographer and as a squared away professional who has crossed over many hurdles.
I have found, a lot of people are scared and want to talk. I do have to be careful. But, listening to patients is sometimes all they need to move forward calmly. Performing exams on Veterans and active duty persons is a joy. We have the world's problems solved in 5min.

As an PSG E7, went into combat with 32 soldiers for a year and coming home with 32 soldiers

Volunteering for military service at the age of seventeen (17) years of age in the new all volunteer Army in 1973.Doing AIT in Ft.Sill ,Ok .Serving 18 months in Germany as a Pershing Professional and having copleted
this task with honor in a two year period.This means being a proud Military Veteran at the age of nineteen (19) yrs of age.I was just getting started!
