I swear I remember someone wearing a silver/grey beret back when I served. they were US ARMY. WTF where they? someone said air assault.

Ranger berets use to be black but Army change them to tan,maroon are airborne,green are special forces and black is everyone else in the army

back in the 80's SSG "Dad" Reddaman (Ranger Cbt Scroll from Vietnam, but no school) told us the Army gave the Black Beret to the most elite in the Army: the Rangers, and the WACs
