What do you do stay busy while on deployment?

I was usually in the office from 0900 until 2100, due to conference calls back to Tampa, FL, so the big excitement of the day was the Mango smoothies at the Green Bean, or going to the PX to see if any of the merchandise had been moved. I took a class that was not required for my MA, but I had completed all the other required coursework and couldn't start my thesis because all my research (notes and books) were at home.
Other than that, I just worked more and longer hours.
