I get down on my knees and pray to God. Before Jesus entered my life I was a wreck on the verge of leaving this world. He saved me then end when I’m having a bad day I know who to turn to. It doesn’t stop there though. The Bible and worship through song are two of the most powerful tools available to help a person through hard times. Also, fellowship, getting together with other Christian’s. You can’t go wrong with love and that’s exactly what Jesus came to show us, love one another. If you’re having a hard time in life, turn on some Christian gospel music and listen, learn, and praise.

Listen to what Jesus teaches about helping others. As many have said on here; helping others in need is good for the soul.

I attend church regularly with my family. I serve as a servant of God in Men retreats to encourage men to get to know the love of God.

Besides working with my therapist to get through the harder aspects, I have found that gardening relaxes my mind. It has helped me get through some hard moments of grief, and depression. I've been able to grow with my plants in many ways, and my skills have improved with each harvest. I've changed my career to urban farming, and make time off the clock to farm/garden on my own time for my community and myself. I'm even at the point where I teach classes, and help others discover their passion for gardening! I am eternally grateful for this earth, and that I've found something that continues to help.

Stay Busy. I am going to college to finish my work on my degree. I took some courses in the military, so I am now a college student. It's nice to be around young people. I am 90 tears young. Steve

Living in the SoWest gives me lots of time for time outside with pup and the garden. It’s a challenge but that’s part of what keeps me sane.
