I play lots of different types of word games. It helps me to keep my mind focused, and not let me dwell on past or current issues.

I try to take time for me (actually wrote it down on January 1st). I stay busy doing things I like to do outside of work. I do a little Mindfulness meditation once in awhile and make sure to take time to be "in the moment". Getaway WITH my wife when we get a chance and spend as much time as I can with my grandsons.

I maintain my mental health by attending the most important appointments of my life with the most amazing Psychiatrist Dr. Billie and working on my PTSD.

To maintain my mental health aside from taking my prescribed medications, I attend my therapy sessions. I also like to read and participate in a Bible study. I am also a Children's Pastor and that brings me great joy.

I break-out my guitar and write, it helps me deal with what's on my mind at the moment and helps to put things into perspective. It's constructive, funny said but honestly it helps me get out of my own head, it works like a reset on my brain, I can't live without it!

Listen to Christian music- the lyrics remind me I'm not alone in my struggles.

My wife and I serrated a nonprofit titled, SurfariPals.org. We teach children many of the same principles, values, and good character skills I learned during my time serving in the U.S. Air Force. We even have a character that teaches military respect.
