TBH the government has me in purgatory, I use to work out physically and mentally, never really have applied the spiritual side without a 3rd party being present.

Scott Mason,
I have Faith and belief in God. The same God that our great country was established on, by our first President George Washington. After a TBI in 1992 I started coming to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. It has been a long journey but Jesus has led me on the straight and narrow path. I pray the God of our country will bless us and forgive us in All things we have committed against him. He has blessed us as a Nation and people. God bless all my brothers and sisters that defend our country. Lord I pray you lead our government and leaders in your will and your ways. God bless the U.S.A.

First I pray to God and ask him to give me the strength and wisdy to accept the things I can not change and the courage to fix the things I can. Then I speak with my lovely wife that is my support, about anything and everything.God, Family is the key!

Often, I have to recognize if I'm allowing a bad minute to become a bad hour, to become a bad day. Taking a moment to really think about your thought patterns and flipping the mental switch from "problem" to "opportunity" helps me get through challenging moments and continue to provide service to those I lead.

I volunteer my time as a public range safety officer, in addition to my immersion in a lifelong hobby. A great deal of reading, both non-fiction and fiction. Staying up to date daily on local and global current events.

I maintain and improve my mental health by activating all of the elements of creation that is possible and using it as medicine to help myself and allow me to help others. This means using food, nature and exercise as medicine, embracing each moment to absorb the healing energy from those experiences; I use relationships with humans and animals to help heal my mental state of being by being the best version of myself and helping others be the best version of themselves. I am a work in progress, and so is the process. Thank you. ❤️

In order to maintain my mental health, I have not only completed many sessions of EMDR, I've learned to talk more and be open about my mental health. I stopped trying to do things on my own so much and really learn to seek help. I've also gotten involved in women's LTC courses, self defense courses and situation awareness courses. I've used what I've learned and experienced in the military to help women understand how to defend themselves and put all my past trauma into good use.

I crochet or sew. Surrounding myself with beautiful fabric and yarn gives me joy. And having my two orange cats keeps me happy.

Take a deep breath, count to ten. Take a walk. Play fairly mindless games on my phone, LOL

My name is Bryan and I served in Turkey during desert storm and came home and found out I had multiple sclerosis. I have been fighting the battle with depression since 2000 I have two titanium shoulders, and one titanium hip. I am currently enrolled in the MDMR program which is helping me deal with the drama that I experienced overseas and I recommend this to anyone. I do a virtual therapist once a week to help me deal with the issues. I know this is going to be an ongoing battle for the rest of my life And I can only hope that I am not one of the 21. Thank you to everyone that served no matter what branch you were in and we were all here together to help one another because I feel if you weren’t there then you really can’t understand the trauma That we went through. The ones that didn’t make it or not lost or forgotten, God is watching over you and bless the families that lost a loved one. It’s a fight every day, but if you fight the battle, I think you can win.
