What do you do when your less than 7 months away from the end of your trail time and you still do not have orders?

I called branch the day after I made the list this past April, only options were Alaska, but I called the next day and Benning popped up for Sep of 2015. Only thing that sucks is I come off the Trail this September. Keep calling is the best thing I could say, especially once a week on Mondays. That's when the best options will be available.

Once I am done with the Trail, I will probably be sent to the training detachment, since I am Infantry, and hang out there till I PCS, BN S3 gets filled up enough with DS's under investigation anyway.

Also, have you thought of extending for a third year. I had put in my request, but in the end, my wife and I decided not too for a few reasons, but it might be something to think about if you haven't done a third year already.

Hey same thing here they just told me ill take the hat off and hang out in BN until I come down on orders. My earliest option after December is March to be an instructor in Missouri. Asked when I can acutally do my job already recruiting here ds duty and now want to send me to be instructor. I'd rather stay and train pvt's then live in Missouri for 2 years just to move again

I was on orders 8 months out from the end of my drill time, I would email branch and give them options, they might have given you an assignment already.
