What do you guys think of "bronies" being in the military?

A little bit of info, a brony is a person, typically a male that enjoys my little pony but is outside the targeted age demographic. I just want to get a feeling on what the general military publics opinions are.

What you do with your time when you're off duty is your business, as long as it's legal.
Now, if you start talking to me at work about which My Little Pony is my favorite (my kid watches the show), don't expect an overly enthusiastic debate about the virtues of Pinkie Pie vs. Twilight Sparkle!

Personally I think people shouldn't be judged on what they like or don't like. Some guys like MLP and others don't. So idk why people are being excluded because of what they like. Everyone is serving their country so why should it matter? BTW I'm a brony and don't care. I have a daughter and she loves my little pony.

As a brony were you judged at all? I myself enjoy the show very much and was very open about it in my unit in Korea and never got excluded. I honestly think that in the military there should be no judgement between you and your battle buddies. You should be able to confide anything in them and not have to worry about harsh judgement. That's what makes a strong team.

Well then my friend you need to find brothers and sisters in arms who will accept you for you. In my opinion, I couldn't work with someone like that, especially in a job where at any time you could deploy into combat.
