I don't think the current problems, of which there are many, will be fixed under this President or his Cabinet members. When General Milley speaks of Diversity being the biggest problem...and that he devotes a great deal of time examining his "white rage"...in my mind, we're done. Do you think any of our adversaries, aside from laughing at the US military as a whole, are devoting even a second to gender studies and all the woke nonsense that goes along with it? You bet they're not. And until we get serious, professional people back in the Pentagon, the downward spiral will continue.

Our democracy because it is being challenged from the inside and that leads to a rip in democracy fabric

China, Russia and definitely “wokism”, While we sit on our asses, China is slowly moving everywhere else, they don’t plan on taking us in war, but with economy. Meanwhile we’re afraid of really helping Ukraine, so we let them limp along as long as we don’t hurt some pride somewhere, and don’t get me started about wokism, now we have to watch everything we do and say so we don’t hurt someone’s little feelings, oh please grow a set.

Budget Constraints: The U.S. military budget has been steadily decreasing in recent years, which could limit the military's ability to invest in new equipment, technology, and training necessary to maintain readiness and modernize the force.
Great Power Competition: The U.S. faces increasing competition from great powers such as China and Russia, who are expanding their military capabilities and challenging U.S. dominance in key strategic areas. This competition could lead to increased tensions and potentially even conflict.
Cyber Threats: With the increasing reliance on technology and connectivity, the military is vulnerable to cyberattacks that could disrupt critical systems and compromise sensitive information.
Terrorism: Despite significant progress in the fight against terrorism in recent years, the threat of terrorism remains a persistent challenge for the U.S. military, with groups such as ISIS and al-Qaida continuing to pose a threat to global security.
Geopolitical Instability: Political instability and conflict in regions such as the Middle East, Africa, and Asia could lead to an increased demand for U.S. military intervention, putting a strain on resources and potentially leading to long-term engagements.
Overall, the U.S. military faces a complex and evolving set of challenges in 2023, which will require strategic thinking, innovation, and flexibility to overcome. It will be important to maintain a strong defense posture, invest in modernization and technology, and work with allies and partners to promote global stability and security.

One of the the greatest challenges of 2023 will be CERNER. CERNER may be okay for the military side but it’s not working so well for the VA. We need a program that truly unit both the military and the VA. It needs to be seamless and easy to navigate. It should not NOT cause more work or more clicks. We need a program that is easy to understand and that people get, and when I say people, I mean both the people of the civilian side, the military side and the VA side.

Mature individuals with high levels of training. Not enough quality ammo.

The US must simultaneously support Ukraine while also insuring we have adequate military resources to protect our own global interests.

Biggest challenge is bringing the message across to young men and women that the fight for our freedoms and those of others is still real. It's a worthy cause to join the military and fight. If we don't stand up and protect, we are not honoring those who came before us, gave their lives, saved millions of innocent lives. It's a challenge but I think we can do it.
