There has been a progressive weakening of our military since the completion of the Gulf War. We have become a military of public opinion instead of a force governed by "Good order and discipline." I joined enlisted and retired as an officer and in my 26 tenure I have observed leadership change their core values to align more with politicians and public opinion than with the personnel they govern. I have also seen new personnel enlist or commission who view the military as "just a job" with no commitment or ownership. I am very concerned that our force will not be mentally ready (or dedicated enough) to handle a conflict with a much more disciplined China or North Korean threat or a honed Soviet Threat.

The possibility of Trump/another Republican like him during the 2024 election for the presidency, considering what has already happened in the past with him in the White House!

I fee that the biggest problem for the US Military going forward will be Retention and Recruiting. Without new people the ranks will be very thin.

Wokeness and extreme Liberalism has creates a generation of Victims who are being trained to HATE AMERICA. They are not being taught that this is still the greatest country on the planet that offers the most Freedoms of any country. I truly don't care if you are Republican or Democrat but I sadly have to agree with President Biden that "Thisis not your Father's Democrat Party ".
He is correct my Father was an active duty Marine the day JFK was Assassinated. I wish we had the JFK Democrats today. "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country!"
What a breath of fresh air that would be from the Left today!

Republicans are advocating the cuts of veterans benefit and currently, the Atlanta VA system is not allowing some medical treatments. Some reviewing doctors are blocking the appointments.
Supporting our troops. Thousands of enlisted military families are eligible for & receive public assistance: food stamps, WIC, food bank services and more Shame on our government for not paying enlisted members enough to exist - let alone live a productive life. Support for members, vets & dependents with PTSDE - particularly vets or members who are victims of MST & have the courage to report. Victims are forced out of the military, seeing mental health can ruin ones career.

The military greatest challenge is getting homeless veterans off the street and into a home with mental and physical, and job assistance. Our current soldiers are looking at the way we treat our veterans who have been exposed to combat and now faces mental, physical and employment challenges. We have to do more to convince them that it is ok to ask for help. That we are there for them and will always be there for them in their struggles. Norton Helton

Enticing young people to consider serving. Our leadership has moved too far away from core values and into forced indoctrination of non-core military values.

Tommy Tuberville is our biggest and worst obstacle and vile human being towards Veterans and Active duty.
