Our military, all branches and members need the continued support of elected and appointed officials, all decision makers to keep our funding such that we are the best equipped and best trained in the world. Period. We cannot let the process be derailed by petty political bickering and power struggles. We need to make sue pour current and successive generations of servicemen and women are never again set up to fail. Rather, we need them set up to succeed. I mean doesn't Afghanistan and Iraq look and feel ike Vietnam, even a little?

I see that the military's greatest challenge in 2023 is the Russian war and the recovery of Covid-19. Due to those conflicts all nations has suffered. Although it will be an ongoing conflict and slow recovery, we need all the forces from our allies whether it is the Marines, Army, Navy, Airforce, and Spaceforce, and we must unite to have a better world for everyone.

The DOD's totally corrupt, woke, & incompetent leadership. Obama got rid of all the good Field & Flag-rank officers and Biden got rid of all the good, competent enlisted personnel. Bad, woke policies are the real reason for the problems in recruiting & retention. I served honorably and well (3 years USMC, 12 years USNR-R, 16 years USAFR) for almost 31 years but today I cannot recommend the military as a good option to any young person. I retired as a Master Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves Civil Engineers. I love my country and it hurts me to see the evil that has taken over.

If you have a degree 4 years and up to Ph.D. and you join the Military. After basic you're still an E-1 pay grade. That's one of the reasons. There are no taps and lights out anymore or Revele. It's Drugs and alcohol, and a loser mentality. IQ level. 50. Gangs everywhere, you can't even walk the streets at night. Now you know why there are so many suicides.

The Military, all Branches and members needs to make sure elected and appointed offficials keep providing funding so that all our troops are the best prepared and best equipped in the world. We need to ensure that each generartion of incoming servicemen and women are never again set up to fail from political bickering over speeding and petty power games. Afghanistan now feels like Vietnam doesn't it? Even a little?
