Soldier morale : nowadays soldiers don’t feel motivated to be in the army anymore , hopefully leaders can motivate their soldiers

The woke counter culture, complicated by the accompanying reluctance of some of command to support us when we try to hold soldiers accountable for their behavior. Remember Sgt. Mack sez, "If it's woke, it's broke and that's no joke." Feel free to use it. It's original. Left active as a Spec 4 and (28 yrs later) left reserve as Msg. trying to uphold the honor of the Service & the NCO Corps.

I feel are biggest issue going forward is our dwindling supply of munitions, and the inability to produce enough munitions to keep our troops fully supplied.

I think protecting the NATO alliance in an increasingly diverse world structure will be our greatest challenge in 2023.

The greatest challenge is still navigating all the Covid-19 mandates throughout different countries and keeping our military safe. I’m sure things change constantly from country to country and trying to maintain those demands for operations is an ongoing ordeal, which poses many mission complications and their realization

The military's greatest challenge is going to be recruiting. Today's public school's do not teach civics or government as required subjects. How will a student relate to what America stands for or gain a sense of what it means to be a citizen ? I remember during the Vietnam Nam era when one slogan was, "What if they gave a war, and nobody came ? ". If our young are not aware of our real history and just bombarded with superficial knowledge what result would you expect as an outcome ? The answer would be complacent, self-centered, narcissistic, and spoiled know-it-all's that know very little except how to use a computer and a smart phone. Schools should immediately initiate required courses on "critical thinking" based on actual history and current events.

Getting new recruits. Unfortunately their isn't the level of national pride in this new generation as before. They do not see it as a duty and honor.

Overcoming the mental health stigma. Making access to the care one needs without feeling like they will be treated horribly. A lot of military suicides are because people can't access mental health care.

On Day 1, with control of both the House and Senate, Pres Trump promised he would build a new wall with Mexico's $, fix our crumbling infrastructure, get us out of Afghanistan, replace the Affordable Healthcare Act with a better healthcare program. Wall was only replaced in limited spots and with US taxpayer $, Pres Biden passed the infrastructure bill, Biden got us out of Afghanistan, no healthcare replacement program was ever even proposed. Actions speak louder than words.
