I see the challenges retired and Veteran service members will have if congress takes disability pat away. We as veterans depend on that money to live on. If we were to loose that income we would certainly be way below the poverty level if we are not already there.

I see the military's greatest challenge in 2023 being the ability to get dedicated men and women to join. The current state of our nation does not invoke national pride to make young people want to join and defend what we have. Being an American is both an honor and a privilege, many young people don't see it that way. You have to value what you have in order to want to defend it. So to me, the biggest challenge in 2023 and beyond is making the youth proud of being an American and thus being willing to support and defend the constitution.

The biggest problem within the military is the internal enemy; those who inflict intentional harm on enlisted personnel because of race, ethnicity, or national origin even US Citizenship. Furthermore, the covert tactics used to inflict intentional harm or injury such as through the use of hypnosis through nonverbal communication. Being targeted by a predator who is military trained is significantly more dangerous than a civilian predator.

The media and public have finally taken a stand against this and hopefully, the military can identify the internal enemy to protect those who serve to protect this country and recognize when an enlisted person has been affected by or is an intended victim.

The first and most important is a shortage of manpower I am mainly talking about the Army and also the Air Force The Army was down by a great number of new enlistments You might say oh they can make it up This is not realizing that it takes time to train these people for their individual jobs while serving There are schools that are more than 2 years and this is after their basic training The Army must find a better way for retention Think about 300000 people get out of the Army and that is for various reasons retirement medical and end of enlistment The top 2 they have no control however the third spot they are going to have to offer better incentives The Air Force is even in bigger trouble for pilots This is a problem because they have not addressed it until now Look at the time and money to train these pilots I would say that the retirement or medical reasons and the third is retention We as a country have a lot invested in our military and we need to stop all this money going to green horse shit and start taking care of the people that take care of us

Managing Budget: with a financial debt that looms over the country, and also remaining operationally ready, managing the defence budget will be one of the greatest challenges.

The militaries greatest challenges is losing our service members while on your own soil. Too many of our own are being hurt from within, this isn’t right. There’s too much favoritism to the point where people are being prosecuted the legal way and a lot gets swept under the rug. We and I say we as a former soldier, need to stand up and prosecute properly no matter what the time and grade is on that service members chest. There needs To be a better system in place for our service members, an outside source.
