What do you think about gun regulations?

What do you veterans and current service members think about gun regulations on the American people?

I am not refuring to the regulations on buying the guns but rather on the regulations about which type of guns can be owned by the American people?

Myself would see no problem with civilians being able to own any type of gun with the exclusion of explosive ones.
