Legislation's passed regarding Veterans should also include forms or questionnaires even online if possible, so Veterans can input some information that can show things not taught about. Example, Southwest Asia, in the theater of operations, Gulf war, Israel was excluded, but a lot was going on there, except the fire pits.

I agree that health care benefits should include dental visits. I have encountered 3 rounds of chemo and an ileostomy. Thank you VA for covering many of the issues. Dental would be a great addition to the benefits.

In early 1972, while I was stationed at March AFB near Riverside, CA, I had to work on a Saturday. The new Colonel in charge of the flight line, who was very hands on and always getting the way, wanted to everyone working that day to assemble in one of the hangers so he could give a little speech to encourage us. He began; "Men..." just as an earthquake started. We all ran out of the hanger until it was over then we re-assembled back in the hanger so the Colonel could continue his talk. He said; "That's All, dismissed" got back in his car and we didn't see him the rest of the day. It turns out that he was stationed in Alaska when they had the big earthquake in 1964.

Getting a hold of the VA on the phone is very difficult. Making appointments are very difficult. It would be nice to make things easier for an older that bad has served in Vietnam and is not computer savvy

Homeless vets is a big problem. I am also concerned about how long it takes for vets to receive answers regarding disability ratings.

Aging of the veterans that served during both the Vietnam era and the gulf war era.

Lack of consistency in Mental Health providers. Even at our VA (the best one I’ve ever been assigned to) our Mental Health providers are constantly changing. In the 2 1/2 years we’ve been here my husband and I (both veterans) have each had 3 different mental health providers! That’s 3 instances where we’ve had to restate our issues. Mental Health issues are hard enough to discuss without having to constantly repeat a difficult situation. Every Veterans group I’m in (Facebook) says this is the same for them. PTSD is hard enough to navigate with consistency - it’s impossible within consistency. Something needs to change!

Access to all the benefits available to Veterans, and then as already mentioned, some care only available to Vets with 100% disability. Veterans deserve better care! thank you

Even as a "100% veteran" dental is ok but sitting with a broken tooth for 3-8 weeks until an appointment becomes available or the same amount of time for care in the community.
I agree dental should be there for everyone, it's part of that blank check you sign when you join u and Uncle Sam said you would be taken care of for life.
The final thing I see as a major issue is the lack of medical professionals in ALL aspects of the VA. Talking to my local non VA medical personnel and they all say they want to work for the VA to help our veterans but won't due to having their hands tied for what they can do and how they can help us veterans. My son's Godmother is a RN and she says even the local nurse and doctors unions tell them to not go to work at the VA because of the restrictions on care.
