What do you think of Obama being the next UN Secretary General?

I think it would be insane. Of course IF they kicked the UN out of the US ...

An interesting idea, but considering the U.S. is a country with a permanent seat on the Security Council, I don't think they'd let him. I think he'd certainly be qualified for the position of Secretary General as somebody who will be a former head of state; and he has no fear of negotiating with potential adversaries to resolve conflict, which is good for anybody seeking that position. As an American, I welcome the possibility as it would be pretty cool to see one of our own up there.
