What do you think of the black lives matter movement? I think it's ironic that they're chanting that they want dead cops, but somehow they aren't inciting violence and when the shooting starts they all run for cover and expect the cops that they want dead to protect them. BLM is a terrorist organization that incite violence and are a bunch of hypocrites.

IDK if it is a terrorist organization in my opinion. However, it is an idealism that is easily fed into because of what the media is portraying to be the root issue. It shouldn't have ever started and the sooner we come together as American's and squash this thing once and for all, it will progressively get worse. It has NO place within our ranks and should be dealt with as soon as a hint of it is heard even if it is "just a joke".

It is true that the violent BLM supporters are a small portion of the total. Just as the racist cops are a small portion of the total police force. So tell that to the protestors. Or should we start having anti-BLM marches in response to BML violence?

PFC Cliff "Swampfox" Hicks - There is NO membership of BLM. They are all people who just support it, as did the killers. This wasn't the first. It won't be the last. You have intellectual issues.

PFC Cliff "Swampfox" Hicks - More whites are killed by cops every year than blacks, about double. Fact. Even though blacks are over 5 times more likely to kill than whites. Fact. No "white lives matter" protests, though all are people and matter. BLM supporters feel their much lower numbers are all important. Fact. There is no membership list of BLM. Fact. Several cops were targeted by BLM supporters previous to Dallas though not publicized as much. Fact. BLM is racism at its finest. (my opinion backed up by the facts)

PFC Cliff "Swampfox" Hicks - If you have the same numbers of people protesting per dead person, there should be more protests over white deaths since there are many more. Since blacks commit crimes at disproportionately greater rate than any other group, over 5 times the number of murders, the deaths of blacks by cop are actually lower than they should be. Disproportionately by crime. Meaning the cops feel it easier to shoot whites.

BLM have lots of supporters and no membership logs. Sanctioned representatives? Where and by whom? NAACP is an organization. BLM is a mob.

It reminds me of the Black Power movement of the late 60`s early 70`s. Black power seemed to be better organized . The theme is the same . Different title. A lot of Troops got in a lot of trouble in Europe. Before the Race Relations Class began in the Army. The Troop in Dallas was NOT part of BLM. He had his own agenda . Moving Targets !! He put a black mark on BLM .

The best, smartest, easiest things to do are:

1. Stay in the car. Why do American cops get out of the car? Stay in the car. When you pull someone over, let THEM come to YOU. This is why European, South American and Asian police rarely/never/if ever, get killed during traffic stops. THEY DON'T GET OUT OF THE CAR!

2. Full body cameras on all cops. Camera doesn't work? You have X minutes to get back to the station and get it fixed or instant jail for obstruction of justice.*

3. Why so many cops? And for so many stupid reasons? Europe and most of Asia has traffic cameras. Speeding? The camera "gets you" and best of all, it emails you your ticket before you even get home. Broken lights, etc? Cameras. Selling shit outside a store thats illegal (sorry peeps, can't sell homemade CD's, thats called pirating...)? The camera see's you and sends you a ticket by calling the shop and asking "who" is outside. Store clerk goes outside and asks your name. Failure to answer gets you a visit from a patrol unit that takes down your address. Ticket in the mail. Get a visit twice? The fine gets greater.

* "costs too much money." "Where we gonna get the money from?" Go to number 3. As you're eliminating trials and courts, you have more money. "Huh?" You can't fight a camera. It just filmed you speeding. Right? So there's no need for a trial, defense attorney, etc. YOU'RE GUILTY.

SSG (Join to see) - You ARE facing your accuser; you're facing YOURSELF. If YOU were filmed speeding, then YOU are getting the ticket. Unless you get the email and then phone the police saying "it wasn't me driving the car." In that case, you'd need proof.

And for the record, living in Florida, we (USA) already do this to some extent. I'll get photos from the toll people all the time saying I owe a toll from x date. I'll then look at the photo and - yup - its my car. Then I check the date and its a date my son was driving. So you CAN "fight" the system. But in 100 speeding photos, how many of them realistically are going to be wrong?

Same with European cop cameras. Guy gets a ticket for drunken disorderly. Along with the ticket is an movie file of him telling the cop to f@%k off. The film came off of the cop's chest camera, so there truly/really/honestly is NO need for a case like that to go to court.

That is the European was for sure. however you are not accusing yourself of doing whatever. You have the right to a trial for any crime. The problem is that places use traffic cameras and the like as an easy way of making money. Also of you would need proof that you were not driving the car in America we have the whole idea of being innocent until proven guilty and well that is one idea that I am not willing to give up.

SSG (Join to see) - Again, its already done in some states. Florida being one. Connecticut being another. Every square foot of our toll roads is covered by cameras. "Downtown" (Euro style) city cameras are already in use in the cities around Disney where tourists live, for that exact reason. Too many tourists to protect every single one, all the time.

And again, you CAN fight the system, you just don't go to court. Which cuts down on the ambulance chasing. I've been "pulled over" twice in England and on both occasions (2014 and 2015), I was sent an email with the video of me committing the "crime." I emailed the police back, explained I was a tourist (complete with photo copy of my passport and plane ticket) and both charges were dropped. All within a matter of seconds.

The big fear is that having nothing but cameras will bring in a big brother type of event. My argument is that a lot of states already do it without you and I knowing (I wasn't asked about it on any ballot I ever signed). Yet, its there. Probably some in your state too that you don't know of. Does your state have "red light cameras" that issue tickets for running red lights? Its the same thing.

While I don't agree with some of the BLM rhetoric. Its pretty clear that the BLM movement was NOT involved in the Dallas shootings.

My biggest issue with BLM is that its fed by too much emotion and not enough facts.

Everyone's life matters. But a lot of folks do stuff in front of a camera just to get on the air. Seen too much of that in my 60+ on this planet. I usually revert back to that old saying if your one of the protesters just going for the 6 o'clock news and someone is breaking into your house call a plumber.
