Does the dismembering of the terror cells in Belgium give you more cause for concern? Is ISIS trying to one-up AQAP in Europe? Do you think this signals an even greater threat in CONUS? Or does this not change your mind at all?

This is World War III. If you can't see the writing on the wall you have a problem. I don't want to sound like a zealot but anyone who follows Islam is a potential terrorist. Islam is not by any means a "peaceful religion" any religion that says you can lie and murder by definition is not peaceful.

SSG John Bacon, I agree completely. Too bad this country is filled with too many people willing to tolerate anything and everything just to avoid being called a bigot.

This continues to demonstrate the network that exists and how it is related to the threat posed by these Islamic extremists. Unfortunately the immigration polices are not doing Europe any justice when it comes to the influx and ease of movement of these jihadists.

Good point, sir. I think the same goes for the USA, but I'm hoping for the best -- that our law enforcement and intelligence agencies will stay one step ahead of these bad guys.

It's interesting. I'm worried about what the actual reported plots were: attacking police stations.
I think we've fallen short of classifications. I don't think AQAP/IS/AQIM try to one-up anymore. I see them a lot like tribes, assisting each other when their 'foreign policy' goals match and quarreling when in opposition. For example, Amedy Coulibaly was an ISIS guy, whereas the Kouachi's were AQAP. I think this thought was proffered by Mr. Morten Storm.
