What does the living situation for a single soldier look like at Fort Irwin? What are the barracks like?

Living situation is the same as nearly all installations. Living in the barracks, depending on the building you end up in you will most likely have your own room with a shared bathroom. Barracks checks, absolutely! If you have a leader who wants to make sure both you and him are squared away. Your job may vary as a medic depending on where you go, both unit wise and section within the medical platoon. You can work in a clinic, aid station or line medic for rotations. You may also end up at the hospital (small chance) too however, you will likely belong to 11th ACR. Good luck.
