What does the word courage mean to you?

Willingness to step up to protect and defend even the ones you don’t know. Standing up against wrong for what’s right and facing the negative repercussions. In this society there is much more negativity than positive, it’s time to change and be the change!

Taking the initiative to step out of your comfort zone for any undo situation at any time to stand up for your right and the rights of others. Standing up for the right thing in face of wrong-doingings or wrong do'ers. COURAGE

My platoon was under attack by VC and NVA in Long Binh. I stood up to change my position for a better field of fire and my Sergeant (Stephan Bryant) stood up putting himself in the line of fire to tackle me and ordering me to 'GET DOWN.' That is what I call Courage!

To me the word courage is understanding that pain is inevitable and suffering is optional. Courage means to accept that I am unlikely to find all of the answers, but I ask anyway. Courage means opening myself to my own vulnerability, allowing the mysteries of life to flow through me.

To stand up too and against EVIL & UNJUSTICE actions

Courage means loyalty and doing a job not for personal gain, but for the greater good
Courage is sacrificing your desires for someone else
And ultimately Courage is giving your life for another

Doing what needs to be done when there isn't any sane way to do it

The best possible risk management strategy.

Saddling up and facing the danger becasue it is the right thing to do even when you are scared to death of the outcome.
