What does the word courage mean to you?

being on or near the brink of something, but willing to push through it, regardless of the outcome.

It means to act against bad intentions and evil people with reason but without fear of outcome and consecuences.

The ability to face things.

Courage is what’s comes after you overcome fear. Sometimes knowing the outcome but yet doing your best to accomplish the mission, giving a soldier a fighting chance to accomplish his.

Courage is the ability to act on behalf of what one considers to be ethically correct with willingness and without hesitation despite confrontation or obstacles.

Being scared, yet doing what needs to be done.

Courage is vulnerability. It’s showing up even if you do not know what the outcome will be, relinquishing control over the unknown, and acknowledging your imperfections. It’s when you walk alongside the fear of rejection or shame and allow yourself to be truly seen, despite the risks of pain or failure.

Courage is the willingness to place yourself in harms way, in service to others, or the nation, knowing beforehand that this action may result in serious injury, or death, and proceed forward to meet the threat.
