What does the word courage mean to you?

Courage means being oblivious to the danger and stepping forward in harms way,

The word courage to me meand
1.Turning your fear into aggressive fighting mindset.
2.Going all out putting your life ahead of iminent death and taking ad many enemies lives as you posibly van with the help of fate
3.Doing whatever it takes to accomplish the task at hand
4.Pride in knowing that you are a part of the GREATEST COUNTRY ON THE PLANET EARTH
5.Finally making the ultimate Sacifice like 1 of my childhood hero's AUDIE MURPHY did

Courage as a veteran looks a little different. It is getting up every single day, even though you just want to die. Being in so much pain on an EVERY DAY basis and still slapping a smile on. Still attempting to be better. Going to tons of doctors appointments, even after the VA let's you down and fails you numerous times. Courage is waking up for pt every morning to exercise, in pure pain; while higher ranks scream at you "you're not trying hard enough"! Courage may differ a little between each military member. However, at the end of the day. A soldier/veteran is the definition of courage! Signing away your life regardless of situations is courage. I am courage.

Being frightful and anxious but you do it anyway because of your your moral conviction to what is right and good for others.

We all face some form of fear on a daily basis, but there are thosee men and women who, in spite of fear, step forward to protect and defend us all, be they military, police, or fire fighters. The courage is stepping up, knowing that all the possible outcomes to a cittuation are not good ones, and life may be the cost for those actions.

Speaking up when a wrong is being done and getting up after they knock you down time after time after time

To me, the word courage means to be aware that all emotions are ok, including fear. Accepting fear as normal and working through it is courageous.

Standing up when everyone around you is sitting down.
