What does the word courage mean to you?

To be brave in the face of harm not allowing danger to keep me from doing right!

That faced with a dangerous situation you take action, and face your fears head-on; you do not cower, you do not run away you act. Even though your mind might be telling you something different.

Courage to me, is the willingness of anyone whether is be man, woman, child, police office, fire fighter, is to respond fearlessly basically in the face of death sometimes not even knowing if their coming back home, they just jump in head first! My Granny once told me the best way to be courageous was to not let your fear paralyze you.....Granny's always right!

Courage is the act of defending what is right. Also if the idea in question turns out wrong courage to withdraw your support and always stand against aggression.

I am different, I am standing in my difference and not afraid to let the world know. That takes courage.

Facing whatever challenges life has to throw at you, be it difficult, dangerous, frightening, embarrassing, or otherwise requiring hard work and effort on your part.

Courage is pushing through the shitty ass feeling in your chest and gut to do something right. No matter how challenging, you push through that fear.

Doing what needs to be done for the good of yourself or others, especially when your scared, nervous, or know something bad can happen to you if you do.

Courage is often used along with the word bravery referring to the quality of mind that enables one to face danger with confidence, resolution, and firm control of oneself in spite of the circumstances.

Courage is not the lack of fear. Those who claim they've never known fear are fools or liars, or both. Rather, courage is acting in the face of fear despite one's emotions and doing the right thing to overcome a bad situation.
