What does the word courage mean to you?

Doing something dangerous or out of your comfort zone to accomplish a goal that is not self serving.

Not pulling the trigger until the target is acknowledged as a threat to life. Without anger or joy.

Courage to me is even in the face of fear, you commit to difficult decisions that need to be made. Being able to put others before yourself. Being able to make hard sacrifices for the greater good and standing behind your moral code.

Courage is facing a dangerous, even life-threatening situation, despite being scared beyond your wits, to accomplish amazing feats of bravery.

Running to a goal while overcoming obstacles

Courage is the decision to act in spite of fear. It is the acceptance of risk and consequence and the prioritization of the mission, goal, or principle above feelings of doubt or uncertainty.

Not afraid of dying, risking everything to save someone.

Courage is having the fortitude to face things that may be difficult or unpopular. Being willing to move forward despite obstacles, taking a chance.

Doing something even when you're afraid for whatever reason to do it.
