The word honor is a very unique word that is meant to highly regard or esteem them a person highly. Such is the men who fought for our freedoms have a place of honor amongs the citizen of our country or one that does a heroic act and does not consider the danger involved, for the sake of another has a place of distintion and honor.

Caring about something so much that you are willing to give your best, your all to it. Whether it be God, Country, or person, you give your heart, your time and the best part of you because you believe that it deserves that place of respect and worthiness in your eyes.

Honor is what keeps you there, it is what kept you from abandoning an injured or fallen comrade in battle or in civilian life....

Honor to me is a synonym of honesty. One who has honor can be trusted to do what he is supposed to do, even if no one is watching.

The basis for which one stands: Keep your word, acknowledge (honor) those who are honorable, virtuous to God and country, live by the word of God. Giving of one's self without expectations in return. Helping those less fortunate. Listening and respond. Valor

Honor is opening the door for someone, saying hello to another, saluting or greeting persons with a different color of skin and those who speak a different language other than yours. Honor always puts others well above our choices disregarding thoughts and actions for our welfare or comfort.
