Honor to me means a life time commitment of respect to my country and my fellow man. I will always be so proud that I served in the USMC and that is for sure where I learned the definition of Honor.

Honor is simply doing the right thing when you think no one is watching. Integrity and honor synonymous because they represent your true character.

Honor is a humbled selfless commitment to a cause or purpose. The ability to hold steadfast despite what circumstances may be changing or any opposing influence that attempts to alter your stance.

Honor doesn't just mean wearing a uniform, but when you put it on a sense of pride, respect and dignity. The loyalty that it has, willingness to serves in spite of a paycheck. The sense of knowing who you are within, making an impact without looking for anything in return.

Honor is having Integrity. My father was drafted, Bill Naylor became my best friend seconds after we met, that friendship lasted until 6am the day after Father’s Day when he chose to die in the VA under hospice care. Bill Naylor’s character emulated Honor, Duty, Integrity right from the first moment he greeted me as a work study student at HVCC. He attended my Marriage and loved Suzy as His own Daughter. Bill loved my four Daughters and treated them as His own Grandchildren.
The last four years of Bill Naylor’s life He lived with our Family. He enlisted in World War Two in 1942 - 1945 , and applied to reenlist in 1959 for Vietnam. He was Honorably Discharged in 45 , from the Army Air Force. Again He received an Honorable Discharge in 62 , from the Air Force. Bill Naylor will never be forgotten.
That is what HONOR means.
