Say what you do and do what you say! No if’s ands and buts about it. Your word is bond.
This question was answered for me while I served under then BG Colin Powell at Ft. Leavenworth, KS in 1982. Early in my Army career, I was one of about 100 officers that were called together by BG Powell.
During that leadership session, BG Powell told the officers in his command “Integrity is non-negotiable.” He then went on to define exactly what he meant and what he expected of each
and every one of us. He told the group “Today, as I stand in front of you, each one of you has
my 100% trust and confidence…until the day you lose it. Once I determine that you can’t be
trusted, that you’ve misled me or told me a convenient half-truth, I can never trust you again,
and you might as well leave my command as you are useless to me. In our roles in the Army,
decisions have to be made quickly, based on a myriad of input from a staff and advisers. I need
to trust each one of you implicitly, without hesitation, or lives may be lost.”
Your personal integrity is your greatest asset, don’t ever lose it.

Integrity is what we should have when we open our mouth. The recipient should gain a good feeling of trust indwell being.
Character and Drive with the utmost respect for yourself and others. To care and never grow weary. In the trenches of life to survive but also represent your most given talent in a way that is memorable to others.
Integrity is a life event that lets you say what you mean, It is never political or can be taken out of context. People know you as one who will fulfill your words and deeds in all honesty.
Doing what is right, not what is easy, even when it can put you at odds with leadership.
Integrity to me can be summed up in one simple sentence. Integrity is doing the moral and honest thing even when it’s hard to do and no one else is watching.
Integrity to Me means doing the right thing even when nobody is around to observe You. Integrity also means telling the truth about something. Also, it's a part of the "Warrior Ethos"
