The word sacrifice to me means giving up something you love and you enjoy for the betterment And benefit of a larger mass

To me sacrifice is what I do when my family, friends or comrades are in need, danger, sick and so on. This is when I would do anything or go through anything so that those people can hopefully avoid pain, suffering or misfortune. Basically, my sacrifice is putting those I care about before me in whatever capacity.

Giving something you have to someone who needs it more. Jesus did this for us, so the least we can do is follow in His footsteps!

Willingly and truthfully giving up own interests and passion to save or maintain other else’s interest without expecting anything in return.

Giving of one self without reservations, i.e, I left my baby boy when he was 17mos old - did not see him until he was almost three (3) years old. It hurt but my signature on the dotted line meant something to me.

Sacrifice means I am giving up something that is essential for my well-being. It also means I am losing something due to a mistake I made or a penalty because of the mistake.

Sacrifice is giving unto others, for their benefit. My military brethren and I gave up our freedoms and liberties, so that others could continue enjoying theirs.
