What does the word sacrifice mean to you?

Sacrifice is to give ones self to a cause, person, entity, country, etc. This means you are willing to give 100% percent of your mind, body, spirit, talent and even your life to further the cause, willingly, wholly and completely without regard for your own life or anything you have, freely.

Benefitting others with action, expecting nothing in return

What sacrifice means to me is placing others above self and giving your full measure to without hesitation.

Giving your all

"Sacrifice" means to be able to stay away from your facebook for a day, from the internet for a month, from your car and your wife for a year, to risk your life for people who hate their lives in general and for you to be OK with all this and do something significant.

Sacrifice to me is when you put freedom for all ahead of personal freedom. Some of us make the ultimate sacrifice of our lives so others can be free.

To give up your time, energy, or resources, to help others in need for the greater good of others. (Totally unselfish)
