What does the word selflessness mean to you?

Selflessness Is what happens when It would have been easier to look out for one's own assets, but instead chose the sometimes more difficult task of relinquishing commodities such as time, resources, finances, emotions, emotional or social stability / standing. To show loyalty in sacrifice for an idea, for an idea, for a team, for a family.....

Selflessness is putting others needs before your own. For example, veterans who have given their life defending our freedom. Someone who risk their life to safe another.

Willing to share everything you have for the greater good of others.

Making a choice that will most likely not benefit yourself but will have a major impact on other’s lives. Such as volunteering after a major disaster, serving at a kitchen, or even an animal shelter. Caring for others before yourself.

Selflessness is putting others needs before yourself, it is a natural way of ones personality.

When someone puts themselves ahead of all others regardless of the situation.

Putting others before yourself, without any social and profit gains.

To give to others even when you are in need!

Selflessness to me is simply putting the needs of others before yourself.
