What does the word valor mean to you?

Valor, recognized in few publicly but present in many who faced injury, death, or capture. It's recognized in the thoughts, words, and actions of men and women serving their country men. It can be seen in the action of taking an enemy position, staying calm facing overwhelming force, or in the quite words of encouragement lending faith in fellow soldiers bringing out the best in each other resulting in overcoming great or fearful odds. It can also be found in the thoughts of men recorded in history, thoughts that stir the hearts of man lifting them to a higher call to go beyond the possible to do that which is named among the brave.

Being bold, unselfish, determined to be there no matter what for a brother or sister. Valor to me means always being determined to face situations without fear, being brave enough for any situation faced in life.

Valor means to have the integrity and courage to put the safety of others in harms way before self.

Valor to me is selflessness and loyalty to your country, community and family.

Combining courage and integrity with heroism to do something heroic.

Fighting for country.

Valor to Me is an act of courageous selflessness. A Heart of Gold and A Soul of Stone. Warm inside but Indestructible on the outside.....The hidden Force between the 2 that 1 would embrace for the love of their Country.

Simply stated, my sworn pledge to serve our Democracy, my fellow service members in the military, veteran community and the community at large.
