What does the word valor mean to you?

Bravery or boldness when faced with over bearing odds.

Valor--the "V" device on a particular award within our fruit salad. Valor is the culmination of determination, commitment, brotherhood, a strong heart and mind--the instantaneous decision to do the best possible thing at the most critical point in time, particularly in combat. I could go on but hopefully I've captured it's essence.

Bravery in trying situations putting aside my own interest..

great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle.

Unrelentless and undying courage.

Being brave in the face of danger. Putting others first and ahead of yourself.

Valor means being brave no matter what danger lies ahead.

Valor is when you without any hesitation put yourself in a greater threat to your own life for the better of the mission and or to protect your brothers in other words understanding that the mission and your Soldiers well-being come before you

Valor is doing good not for applause but for ultimate good.
