So I’m at AIT for 15t and only been here for a week and got soft orders to the 8th personal command. I wanted to go 160th and planned on dropping my packet this week or next week. I was wondering if it’s still possible to drop a 160th packet and what exactly is 8th personal command, I heard conflicting things it’s Korea or fort shafter Hawaii ?

Have you tried Google? It's really handy. Clearly, you have access to the internet. On the interwebz you can search for things like 8th Personnel Command or the 160th recruiting page that will let you directly message the recruiters to ask about retlcruiting. In fact, they'll usually respond faster than some random message board on some random forum.

Also, it's 160th SOAR not 160th signal brigade

SFC (Join to see) - There is a 160th SIG BDE, whose Garrison is Kuwait.

SGT Javier Silva that's why I pointed that out. He tagged 160th Signal BDE but he's talking about dropping a packet for 160th SOAR.

(Join to see) The Eighth Personnel Command, is the Eighth Army, which commands the army units in S. Korea. Read about the Eighth Army here: https://8tharmy.korea.army.mil/site/about/mission.asp. This is NOT your final unit of assignment. They will assign you your unit when you get there. You may request 160th SIG BDE, but it isn't guaranteed, unless it is in your contract.
